Larissa, Daughter of Dalt

Larissa grew up in the backwater Shadow of Q'rin. Her father decided that if shecould survive living in Q'rin, then she could survive the Amber relatives and was thusstrong enough to be his daughter. Dalt was not what you would call a loving father.

Q'rin was at one time a peaceful land, ruled by a just and fair king. When he died, however, his sons took over and all hell broke loose. Larissa, as a young child, found herself on the run from her royal uncles (the kings sons, her mother's brothers) and living on the streets of Q'rin. There, she grew up seeing the destruction and cruelty that her uncles brought to the land of Q'rin. Eventually, all but one slew each other.

As a teenager, she began to fight back.

As Larissa learned fighting techniques, she found that emotions can also be weapons, and vowed that no one would ever use hers against her. At 18, she slew the last remaining uncle and proclaimed Simon the king's bastard son, who was in hiding, as the rightful heir. She then left Q'rin for Kashfa, where her father was currently residing.

Trump Description:
The background contains a fireplace and mantle. The wall above has an assortment of weapons, from swords to crossbows. Each looks to be in good condition but also well used.

You notice that the fire in the fireplace casts shadows about the room and the young lady in the drawing. A feeling that the light and dark are fighting for dominace of not only the room but the young lady as well comes over you.

The lady is leaning against the mantle and appears to be in her early 20's. She is about 5'7" tall and is well built. Her face is one of classic beauty with long wavy hair, aristocratic nose, and full lips. The only thing that mars this perfection is that her face contains no welcoming smile. Neither does it contain a frown, it seems to be expressionless. Her attire seems to have been chosen for it's practicality. She is dressed in black pants and vest, grey shirt, and brown boots. Peeking above her right shoulder is the handle to a sword.

From her easy stance, attair, and overall appearance you get a feeling of quite competence. Just as you feel she is a safe one to contact you get a uneasy feeling. You study the picture once again and are drawn to her violet eyes. They seem to be looking right into your very soul. While you have been studying her, it seems she has been assessing and judging whether you are worthy of her attention. Perhaps it is wise to think twice about contacting her.
