STRANGE BEDFELLOWS
Noys, Princess of Retribution
-Daughter of a Fallen King (200 pt version)
"Dagny: 'Who is Noys? Another cousin?' Bill Roth laughs: 'Another cousin' Dagny sighs."
Strange Bedfellows
"She is known for having a strange attraction to Lorius, one which is far from being reciprocated."
Strange Bedfellows
"The smile on her red lips is friendly. Her eyes are pure blue, and the length of her lashes is evident even from this distance. Like her gesture, and smile, the look in her eyes shows her desire for you to come and share the fireplace on this cold night."
Trump of Noys
Noys. Silent, sad, lovely Noys. The secret princess of the Patternfall War.
She has little standing in Random's court, but the respect of those who know her young years disguise a keen mind. She studies diplomacy.
Her father is something of a hero, he died to keep Amber free of Chaos.
Like so many things in the Universe, Noys really doesn't like the way that story came out.
Current Objectives: Noys knows a bit of everything that goes on in Amber. She had mentored instruction from many of the Uncles in her Father's cabal while it was at the height of its powers. She was kept hidden, and sometimes schooled by Caine, Juilian, and Gerard.
Not to mention the mastermind of Amber, her father Eric.
What do you imagine that kind of training can do for a young woman everyone discounts as "smitten by strange attractions to Lorius"?
You begin to see.

Artifacts of Power
"She appears lean and fit, about 5 and a half feet tall. Her raven hair hangs in bangs. Her dress is a fine silvery gray color. A black choke collar is around her neck. A beautiful emerald is set in it."
Black Choker [9 pts] - A gift from her Father, when his fears of Fiona finding Noys were at their height. The mind screen is subtle and very effective. It tends towards more cloaking than defense, but it functions well at both.
-Psychic Neutral Enhanced [4 pts]
-Confer Quality [5 pts]
Good Stuff
[+8 pts] - just try and get the goods on Noys. :-) just try.
Tips for Playing Noys
"A slender woman dressed in gray entered the room. Her hair was long, and black like his was, but much straighter and silken. A mere slip of a girl, quite lovely in her own right, and his only child. Sometimes he felt his only burden as well, but for a girl he felt he couldn't have been more fortunate- respectful, intelligent, and obedient. She carried with her a covered tray, which she placed on his desk."
Death in the Family
Noys has a dangerous unrest with the way things are.
She loved her father very much. She thinks that a exquisite crypt and a day of mourning once a year are no true measure of her father's worth to Amber.
She is able to make small things work in her favor, as she has manipulated everyone, including Lorius into believing that she is directionless.
Corwin and Bleys, who openly assaulted the best of Amber and spilled the blood of thousands are contemptable. Only to be tolerated by the veil of innocence that Noys has perfected for her family's benefit.
King Random, who once tried to kill her father, is not high on her list of confidants.
Rinaldo, who did kill her beloved Uncle Caine is lower on the list, yet. Queen Vialle needs to learn a thing or two about royal justice as well for her pardon of Rinaldo.
Fiona, is a wretched two-faced snake in petticoats.
It should be no surprise that Noys' cabal is arranged thusly;
Flora, in charge of politics of the succession.
Julian, in charge of Amber's defense.
Brieanne, in charge of Justice, with Rinaldo at the top of the list.
Gerard, who will work in where he always has, and his two sons as well, as soon as things are ready.
Noys as Mother
Noys, in spite of her methodical ways, would be a attentive and thoroughly loving Mother.
This is what she received from her father and her own husband-to-be will have a damned hard time measuring up to that yardstick!
For now, she is young, and has no plans for a family yet. She has to take the measure of the one she has first.
Noys as a Player of the Family Games
From Noys's point of view, the Family Game is the reason that she exists. She loves it, breathes it, understands it better than anyone living except her enemies.
Allies and Enemies: Noys has allies beyond those mentioned. Random's success on the throne is the calm before the storm.
Her enemies are Corwin, Bleys, and Fiona, but above all, Rinaldo.
Good luck, son of Brand.
