Gerard once quipped that Pollux was born with a book in his hand, and that Castor was hot on his heels, screaming in indignity at being detained so long in the womb. While both Twins share their father's tremendous vitality, it is Castor who is most like their father in physique and lust for adventure.
Current Objectives: Castor is interested in safeguarding the True Realm, but his stance is much more proactive than his brother's, something which creates a synergy between them which binds them more than it divides them. Castor is currently researching the Shadow Power of the Tempest, in hopes of turning it on the Omphalos.

Castor as a Player in the Games of the Amber Court: Castor tends to go his own way, which is often at sea. He avoids court life in much the same manner as Carl takes to the forests. He's much less concerned with the tides of public opinion and policy than he is with the sea and the storm. He relies on Pollux and Lorius to keep him informed, and together, the three make an unlikely but impressive triumverate.
Constant Allies and Enemies: Castor doesn't have too many enemies, unless one counts the many privateers and freebooters he has sunk in the waters of the Golden Circle. Castor doesn't. Just another part of his duty to the Realm Eternal.
Castor as a Father: Any athletic, outgoing and adventurous types would find Castor a superb father, willing to show them the ropes of Shadow adventuring and to let them go their own way. The more sedentary types will have a good uncle in Pollux, but may feel starved for attention from Castor.
Tips for Roleplaying Castor: Do it BIG. Don't ever hesitate to throw yourself into harm's way, especially if for a great cause. And never forget your lifting capacity, because it's fun, even if it ain't "roleplaying"...leave that roleplaying stuff for the others. You've got some serious butt-kicking to do.
