BRIEANNE: MODERN MISTRESS OF THE HUNT

(250pt. Version)

What happens to unpolished beauty when it turns feral, shrugging off social niceties the way a reptile sloughs away old, withered skin? Her eyes hold secrets of the darkened woods, beckoning to the predator locked within your own flesh, neatly tucked away under civilization’s sheen. She moves with the supple grace of a deer, dancing among oaks while moonlight spills over the land like milk. Listen close…you can almost hear the hounds bay at her call…

Now imagine this same woman in a world of millenium technology, of skin-tight leather and decorative piercings that only serve to assure you Arden’s wild child lives on; undeniably lovely, unmistakably dangerous…

Current Objectives: Brieanne is out to enjoy herself in this world of ours, and is finding out all too clearly that the fundamental Law of the Wild, "Only the strong survive" holds true even among forests of stone and glass.

Tips for Playing Brieanne

Brieanne takes after the darker sides of her father in ways that border on sociopathic. Where Julian can nurse a grudge for decades before acting, Brieanne is more kinetic, less concerned about the long-range plans rather than immediate gratification. "If thy eye offends thee, pluck it out" might have a new meaning to her more violent nature; she’s just as likely to puck out both eyes, rip off the offender’s head, and go digging after the spleen just to prove a point. As volatile as she is lovely, her hair-trigger temper has gotten her into more than a few scrapes along the way. She’s been tested by some of the worst horrors in Shadow, and whatever might’ve remained of the sweet child who grew up weaving flower crowns in Arden has been replaced by a woman with a core of molten slag iron. Meet the new malicious princess of metal who thinks it’s funny to watch men’s reactions when they realize she’s just separated their genitals from their body.

Brieanne as Mother

Brieanne isn’t exactly looking to be maternal at this phase in her life. The world is full of unsuspecting men who still think they’re in charge of society’s rules, and she’s going to show them a thing or two about underestimating the distaff sex. Were she to become pregnant by chance, there’s every possibility she would give the child up for adoption, returning to claim it much later when the time was right.

Brieanne as a Player in the Family Games

Brieanne is all-too ready to match her raw determination against the labyrinthine schemes of her relatives. The older ones have spent far too long watching event unfold; action is the key. While her cousins, uncles, and aunts plot against one another, allying into factions, betraying one another with razor-edged cruelty, Brieanne is carving out a place for herself, and getting stronger by the minute.
