How did Asteria even know about the Primal Pattern and why did she think it might be in danger? Behind Asteria's blonde bimbo facade lies a mind that is as sharp as a tack. It is easy to loose oneself to Asteria's good looks, and many a man has fallen prey to her charms. There is the old saying that behind every pretty face lies a sinister mind. Current Objectives:
With the Omphalos an invader looming on the horizon, Asteria is looking for a way too not only survive them but come out on top. Random won't be King forever, and Asteria plans to marry the next King of Amber. If it appears that a woman should gain the throne, well then the position of right hand person would be ideal. Manipulating things so that this will happen is taking up most of her time and energy.

Tips For Playing Asteria:
Asteria will downplay her shrewdness and will be seen by all as the pretty china doll figurine, lovely to look at but not to talk to. However from time to time she will spout of amazing insights that can lead to unbelievable questions and answers. She can show up at the most unexpected places to lead a character in a new direction, but always on the pretext of delivering a message for her mother or some other such nonsense. In between her monologues of how one should dress or act she will slip in secrets about the family or things that are going on in the castle, as long as the revelation is to her advantage. She is the ultimate social butterfly that flutters from here to there leaving chaos in her wake.
Asteria as a Mother:
Asteria could be a wonderful mother if her child has an aptitude in the social graces. If not though watch out, the child's life would be a living nightmare for there is nothing they could do to please Asteria. A child that excels in the social graces would receive all praise and attention they could ever hope for.
Asteria As A Player In The Games Of The Amber Court:
As a player of the court, Asteria can almost be considered a master. She is seen at all the parties and knows many family secrets, yet by all she is seen as a social butterfly at best.
Constant Allies and Enemies:
A person either likes Asteria or hates her; there really is no in-between emotion. Though there are many who do not like Asteria, she does not have any known enemies. That would simply take to much time and energy and those that dislike her wouldn't even bother.
As for allies, she has plenty. She has courted all the Elder Amberites and has even dined with a Chaosite Royal or two. She has made the rounds with of all those in power among the Golden Circle. If a person has political sway then you can bet Asteria has sought some ties with them.
