ETHEREAL--The House of the Soul

This is a shaping of the psycheform (or soul) to allow it to perform (mostly visually) out of the body. It leaves the meat vulnerable, of course, but it is very hard to detect (even by sorcery and other powers.)
The Basic Power {10 points}
At ten points, one can use Ethereal to sense Lifeforce. Can detect Good or Bad Luck, and a broad sense of what Houses the person in question is a member. (This includes Chaos and even Amber)
Basic Ethereal Lens {25 points}
At twenty-five points, you can send your lifeforce out as a kind of roving eye -- you can see and hear (other senses available, but very faint.) Your Lifesense is fully active through this. Range and duration determined by Lifeforce (range by what you take with you, duration by what you leave in your body, with the latter being a maximim of five) and Ethereal skill.
Possession {35 points}
At thirty-five points, you gain the skill of being able to attempt the possession of another person. It involves overwhelming their Lifeforce with your own. At this stage, it's very blatant; they'll know something's being attempted. Your body is still at risk if left unoccupied for too long. The occupied personality is forced back into their own subconscious, and will 'dream' what you do with them.
Spiltsoul {45 points}
At forty-five points, you can divide your Lifeforce however you want when you send yourself out, and so long as both your Lens and body hold at least a quarter of your total, maintain awareness in both. The minority-holder will still be a dim awareness. If it's an even or body-preferent split, the body can even keep moving, though activity should be kept simple. (Handy in poker.)
Puppets {60 points}
At sixty points, you learn to leave little 'hooks' in someone after you possess them once, which can then be used to take smaller degrees of control more easily. These will fade with time if not maintained, and require virtual spending of your Lifeforce.
Soulbindings {75 points}
At seventy-five points Ethereal Masters can bind a soul (of a person, creature...anything with Lifeforce, really) into an object. The object will then have its own Lifeforce and abilities derived from the soul so bound. If they were strong enough, the item may even keep some (or all) of their Intelligence...possibly even memories, which can be trouble. The most commonly thought of application to this (and one reason Ethereal is sometimes feared) are the Souleaters, which hold their own malignant intelligence and feed on the souls of those attacked by the weapons they are bound into. (As this is how they survive, these creatures don't MIND being bound into weapons, making them one of the easiest forms of Soulbinding.) Other applications can result in magic-wielding items, or the traditional "genie-in-a-bottle" effects.
