And so it is, perhaps.

Before there was an Amber, before the Unicorn and Dworkin changed reality forever, the Courts of Chaos stood as the pole of the universe, the center of the universe, the final reality. Even after the creation of the Pattern, Chaos was not relegated to second best. The forces of Order and Chaos, the grand opposing forces square off in an eternal chessgame. While Amber is well described and known by the descendants of Oberon, what of the Courts? What is it like in a land where the sky changes color...where shadow is molded into Ways, and the politics and intrigue of Amber are molded into an art and amplified a hundred fold?
